Wooh, $500.00, would've been an expensive trip for sure. I wonder what kind it was.

It was the "My authority is more awesome than you can imagine" fish. Those people are supposed to be out there encouraging citizens to engage the out of doors, not make them afraid to ever put a hook in the water again. It was an honest question that deserved a respectful answer.

Game/fish wardens (at least in Virginia) have way more power than a government employee should have...and they love to flaunt it.

The ones that I've encountered, seem like that to me. Maybe the job goes to their head, which is why they flaunt it.

I think that of all forms of law enforcement, those people have the least restrictions on where they can go, and they have the lowest level of required justification.

Bimini top will be here Sunday, and my daughter sent me a gift card, which was more than the top, so it cost me nothing. :)

The water looks like glass, used to love Slomman Ski in the rivers on it when was that way; on calm days. Nice photo. :)

I charged the batteries yesterday, and have the new Binimi Top, for the boat now. Next I will have to crank it, and let it run for thirty minutes or so, and put a new top on. The weather is shaping up for a good time fishing.

Be hanging this sign out soon. :D

Bimini Top; is now on the boat. :D

What a nightmare that was, putting it on in the sun yesterday. It could have been easier if two were doing it. Directions gave four different tops and I had to figure out which one they had sent, it was different than mine and a foot or so smaller, but it's on and looks good.

I still have to crank and run for a while; that's next. :)

Ok, Jake, this reply is for you, or anyone else that knows about selling a powerboat: Shortly we will be selling our 1992 Celebrity 200 Cuddy Cabin and Trailer. We now realize that we should've sold it in Loveland, Colorado when we lived there. Why? There were many more old/older boats there than here. We bought the boat/trailer in April 2009 from a Lt. Commander in the Navy that was stationed at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, Florida. The boat was in pretty good shape, but from April 2009 to now, we have done many, many things to it, including repairs to engine, outdrive, stern, floor replaced in cuddy cabin and dual-battery setup.
Now, my question is, how and/or where do we try to sell this boat/trailer? The last boat we had, a 1989 Invader Bowrider, we co-signed back to the Dealer and they sold it for us in Colorado. Same Dealer we bought the boat from.
Any suggestions, as in Boat Trader and/or Craigs List?

Ask the guys at the marina. Maybe let one of them do it for a fee.

Sorry John, they won't even talk to us concerning selling a 1992 boat. Trying to sell that old of a boat would be a total embarrassment to them.

Hey, Cody, I'm not much of a salesperson; but I would do as you said, put it in a boat trader, Craigs List & other places I could list it. Someone interested will go for it, people like me, are used to fixing older things up and will buy something, that's a good deal, not worrying about age, like some people do.

This link below shows that they sell on it, pretty quickly, for them.

I would lower the price as much as you can, then let folks bid on it until you get what you want.

    Good luck.

Well, they didn't exactly say it that way, but we were told that it was too old for them to sell. IOW, John, it's sort of like our old 2005 Dodge Durango. The Dealer bought it, as a trade-in, for $2,000, but would not display or sell it on their lot due to its age. They sent it directly to an auto auction.
