    I agree! (Except with the rye toast thing, haha. :p) I bought a "bun pan" a couple of years ago and have never used it, so I suppose I should attempt homemade hamburger buns in the near future.

    My wife is now actively working on me to accept KETO hamburger buns, which apparently are some kind of "fake" dough", says you can't tell the difference. My reaction is: if that's the only KETO I consume, why bother??

    I haven't heard of keto buns, but I don't bother with that stuff. I have had low-carb bread and tortillas that tasted OK, though. I know a lot of dedicated low carb/keto diet enthusiasts use nut flour or coconut flour, flax, etc. to replicate wheat flour in recipes.
