I agree Marie, at a distance I don't know why I love using them as sort of "icons" to express things, maybe because I never got to have any and maybe just because they crack me up!!

 

Quartz arrowhead

Well don't feel bad sometimes I wonder if I had any.Maybe they think they were hatched during those times.

 

it sure looks like an arrowhead to me without that paint on it

 

How do you explain the hole in the middle? I wouldn't think anyone would go to the trouble to make an arrowhead with a piece of quartz that had a flaw in it when good solid pieces are abundant. Also, the dimples in it look natural as do the edges, not like it was struck to be shaped.

 

It looks like some kind of fruit pit to me.

I agree, but it sure looks solid and hard and that shameful defacing by Shirley really impedes a complete analysis.
