Yeah, I looked at that one but I'm not sure I want a tankless model. And that description says "Capacity 10 cubic feet." LMAO
That's a lotta coffee!!! So why do you want the one with the tank? Do you gain anything by having the water at-the-ready all the time?
I've only ever had Bunn machines with the water tank; just a preference. The tankless appears to be made in China; the others are made in Iowa.
Just a little info to help out the pocket. If anyone wants a commercial grade Bunn machine, check out the used restaurant supply houses. For about $30 or so a person can pick one up, do a little cleaning with some vinegar water, then go for it.
Sure wish I had thought of this. I've watched Craigslist and auctions off & on, but never thought of a dedicated reseller of used stuff.
Thanks for the tip, but I don't need a commercial size. I'm still trying to decide on a thermal or glass carafe.
I haven't been using the warming plate on my Ninja. I pour a cup of coffee and store the rest of it in a thermos that will keep it hot for 16 hours or more.
I'm considering 2 models of Bunn machines; one has a warming plate with glass pot and the other has no warming plate and a stainless thermal pot. I like the looks of the glass better so I think I'm leaning that way. I like being able to glance at the pot and see what's in it without taking the lid off.
Well, everyone can sleep tonight... I decided to go with the glass carafe/warming plate model. I know you were all on tenterhooks. It looks like this... I also ordered a can of Cafe du Monde coffee and chicory from Amazon and a few boxes of Bunn filters.
