I got my $8 West Bend vintage pot today and have spent 2 hours cleaning it. The inside has darkened so I have tried every vinegar/baking soda/scrubbie trick I can find on the internet. Next up will be cream of tartar, but I don't have any so I added it to my grocery order for tomorrow. The pot is in pretty good condition with scratches on the finish, so I'm going to hit it with some emery cloth after I get the inside cleaned up.

Turns out it is older than I thought... probably 1940's-50's. It has the weirdest setup on the inside. It took me an hour to figure out WTF I was looking at when I saw this in the water tank...

Well, Goodwill auction site has a couple, but there's a bidding war going on with one of them. I wish there were an eSnipe for Goodwill. I'll check back in a day or so.

Well, heck. There's a Belk in a dying mall in Charlottesville that has my Cusinart and an Oxo in stock for the same price as Amazon.

Do you have a Kohl's credit card? Kohl's has several grinders 30% off with their card.

THAT'S the 4-letter place I could not think of. I just took a look...they don't have any in the store, and there are 5 that ship to the store for free.

    Hmmmm....

Well. While you guys are all enjoying your nice hot brewed coffee in the morning, I'll be stuck with instant because I didn't have time to make any fresh. *snif* :(

Open the amazon app, and at the bottom right are three bars. When you click that the whole menu opens up and then you just choose deals. this gives you several different deals for the day.

Thanks, I don't do apps. How about on the website? Is there a shortcut to Warehouse Deals? And are Warehouse Deals and Deals-For-The-Day the same thing?

I only use the website (but I use the Amazon Smiles) to check out , so that it counts for the Smiles program. However, looking there, under the search bar, it says “Today’s Deals”, and there is also the three bars at the far left side, which seems to be the menu for everything.
I do all of my browsing with the app and my iPad.

Warehouse deals are the returns, or items which are functional, but the box has been smashed a little or some other small imperfection. Many of the returns are because someone ordered the wrong item, so they might have been opened or even used, but are still like new.
The deals for the day are more like the Lightning Deals, as far as I know, and are completely new items.

Thanks! I never noticed the Daily Deals. I'm still searching for a Warehouse link, but can do a web search for it...not that i need more ways to spend money.
