No, they are a smaller version of the octopus family called octopi poisonae. If you touch one, you'll die almost instantly. So we better go very carefully for the next few mikes.

 

They are crawling up the sides of the boat. There must be 50 of them. Yikes!!! We must alert the captain to bring armed men immediately. Meanwhile you and I Miss Shirley will use whatever we can find to push them back into the water.

I have a can of hair spray. Lucky us! It seems that hair spray turns them to jelly.

So, we defeated the octopi poisonae . We are almost back to civilization. We have our samples. Now what?

 

I made it back to civilization. Sadly, all the others were eaten by some kind of mysterious bacteria that the octopi poisonae left on the boat. I'm sure gonna miss them. But the money and fame I acquired makes up for their loss.

 

@Louise Miller and I have an idea for another story. Right now, it's just an idea. Would anybody like to play?
