Now I 'm confused, I don't want to be known as a kidnapper. Maybe offer Ernie a minor share or better depending on his help?
'Ernie, wanna join n help us for 2%?'
2% of $5000 is $125 I reckon. Help us and you could cleanse any past sins weighing your soul down. We are all sinners brother.

^^^^Ernie saw that and now he wants to go with us. :)

After Ernie sobered up, he and I had a chat. He said that he heard us talking about going on an adventure and he wanted to see what we were up to. I told him that we were looking for the money tree. He asked if he can go with us. He said he will help out any way he can. I will share whatever we find with him.

But not with @Louise Miller . She isn't doing her part. :p

Ernie said he will get his cab and drive us back to town to buy supplies.

She is offering some humorous input Shirley but I agree. Louise we need you to kick in and do your bit. This is serious stuff as there is a fortune at stake. You will keep us all well fed as the expedition's cook. Frankly we are a little tired of Terence's franks and beans and vittles. No offense Terence.

WHAT? Do you want to give all of us food poisoning? @Louise Miller can't cook worth a darn. At least Terence's beans and franks won't kill us. :D

We'll let her wash the dishes. She can do that pretty well.

Has anyone heard from Thomas Stearn. I spoke with him a month ago but nothing since. Germany has had another Covid wave and he told me that it was specially bad in the East where he lives. We should have exchanged email details.

I have never chatted with Thomas Stearn. I remember the name but that's it.

Send Terence to get our supplies as he'll know better than I precisely what we will need. (PM Terry)

I caught a few Rabbits in my traps to go with the beans and potatoes. I won't eat wild pigs tho as they can carry TB.
How about Turkey, I saw one recently.

Not sure about using Ernie's cab Shirley. I've got Bruce my mule who's more reliable and probably faster. He can pull Ernie's cab if it gets stuck or broke. I don't like leaving him alone also, he is a stupid stubborn mule.
Write your list out for me Craig and read it to me. My short eyesight is poor as you all know. I don't need glasses to shoot!
I have almost $14 800 cash. Will that cover it? I'll get some onions and some eggs too. I feel we need some serious lifting gear too, and a strong mule. Coincidently, I have a strong and stubborn mule called "Bruce" the dumb stubborn mule. He is very strong tho.

    godloves me.jpg
He has a good nature too, never ever bit a child.

I hear pasta is good tucker too with dried tomatoes, onions n beef or any other meat or fish. Must try that pasta, fish n white sauce. Bruce usually scrounges for himself. Watch your blankets. I do feed him on good grain but he gets peckish. Ate one of my shoes once.

We should get lots of that foreign Garlic too. Italians eat it with pasta, and the French just eat it with everything. Their breath stinks. Vampires hate it tho I hear! We should each wear a necklace of it I reckon, and learn to eat it. Anti Vampire breath. Just saying. And 10lb of rice.

I'm happier to have Ernie along actually. Safety in numbers and he seems a good fellow with an automobile of sorts, and local knowledge, especially being a cab driver. And better a volunteer with a share than a captive.
I trust Shirley to give him a fair share. Does he have a telephone? Ernie, can you make the supplies' order by the telephone? It makes the pick-up quicker. Craig can read the list out, he has a very clear voice and reads real good.

More tough rope I reckon too Craig and some geared pullies. Two 2 to 1's I reckon. Also 1 more pick, 2 shovels 10 lb of long nails, 2 heavy hammers, one large crowbar, 5 sticks of dynamite, 20lbs of dried n salted assorted meats, fuses, matches, two axes, 1lb of chocolate, and 4 bottles of whisky, and a full med kit, and ...another set of binoculars....Anything else? 20 lbs of cement?

Anyone have a camera? What else? Coriander?

Louise, you may have to walk eventually if Bruce gets too tired. We'll see, he's stubborn and dumb but he seems to like you? Louise, you can be the cook's assistant. I'm the cook. I'll show you how to skin n gut a hare, or peel spuds,... Whatever. Enjoy.

You have everyting covered Terence. But why the cement? One other thing.. a book on American Indian folklore. Forget that I will pick up one at the town library..
Btw do you know how to cook DAMPER.. it is a bread baked on a fire made popular by the Australian swagman during the Depression while they roamed the vast inland in search of work.
Here is the recipe Terence or you can give it to Louise.... http://allrecipes.com.au/recipe/11361/swagman-s-damper.aspx
