I looked up El Dorado. It sounds like a serious story. I'm not sure I'm ready for another serious story right now. Y'all go ahead and I'll join in if I can.
Come to think of it this story has similar themes to the last Terry. So until we have more storytellers to tell the big stories what is your idea for a simpler story Shirley.
I agree, please stay Shirley and we'll do a lighter style story. I'm fine with that. How about a bus trip up to say Seattle when during the journey a blizzard hits us. Nice and easy I reckon. Who can drive a bus? That could have a few stories and adventures in it. Or what recently happened in Colorado. That might be a bit extreme though. Poor people there. Fires and blizzards. So unlucky. So tragic. Or playing some main Detective Characters, like in the British tv series 'Foyle's War'? , based during WWII in Southern England, where my own Dad came from. All very proper there with cups of tea and cucumber sandwiches with the crusts cut off naturally, and a plethora of crimes to solve. Spies to catch, Murders, Black marketing, Shattered soldiers returning, a Noble class in decline, Concentration camps for captured Germans.. Mainly pilots at first....and take turns making up crimes....? Too detailed? Lots of possible brief scenarios tho. Who stole Mrs Nelson's leg of Lamb, including the Mint sauce and scalloped potatoes? Candace emailed me recently with a lovely story of a recent and nice event in her life. She loves to write, like me. Her health is picking up too I think. I also think she might enjoy playing a police officer with a big dog having a trained nose... It is important to find an equilibrium in our play, and so I will try to be flexible so everyone's happy. You are a top bloke Terry. To be honest Shirley has been SoC's longest story teller and is any integral part of Continue the Story. Be good tho if we were able to add to our small ensemble so we can tell the bigger stories. The bus trip sounds fine to me. Shirley?
