Problem.. That area of the island has many dogs roaming around.. for sure they will bark their heads off.. Any other suggestions ???
another problem? ....there are just too many problems and time is a wasting.. I have the answer !! .. We could bring some hot dogs to feed the dogs with and that should turn them into being friendly watch dogs if the Natives should spot us, thay will go after them..... !
That is an excellent idea, Louise! Then when the dogs have run the natives off, they can help Steve dig for the treasure chest.
Pack very very light as we are only on a day trip.. On second thought, why do we have to pack if we are on a day trip?? LETS JUST GO !!!!!!!!!!!
Steve, I need a picture of your face so I can do faceintheholes of you with us. It can be an old one or a new one. I can make adjustments to it if needed. So away we go, off to who knows what kind of adventures.
The sail boat slid almost silently onto the sand. Steve grabbed his shovel, stuffed a wiener in his pocket and jumped out.
To feed the dogs, silly! We have to keep them from barking so that we can find and dig up the treasure chest.
Gosh, you had me scared there for a minute.. I think Steve said he had a little map?? Looks like an easy take ,,, Gosh how did this little map get to big??? YIKES!!
Shirley.. You can get my real picture from the old seniors forum.. Me holding up a fish.. I have another smaller map.. I will make copies so if we are separated, we will all have copies.. I have several wieners and also doggy treats.. I have a shovel.. I think it is time for ACTION... Lets go !!! PS.... would someone please bring a lunch for all of us.....
Nothing elaborate... Just something to keep us going while we pull off the find of the century.. WAIT !!!! Is that a huge storm I see coming in ???? Looks like a hurricane.. I am cancelling our trip because of the danger of the hurricane.. OK.... We must batten down for the huge storm that will be here very soon...
The storm was rapidly approaching. Steve grabbed his shovel and started digging! He had only dug a few inches when the shovel struck something solid. It was the treasure chest! Steve pushed it up onto the sand. Louise and I took one end, Steve took the other. We hurried to the boat with it. Steve cranked the powerful motor and we sailed around a point, Then up into the safety of a narrow bay. There we waited out the storm.
