Because we were so interested in getting a new (new to us, that is) vehicle, we put off trying our Halloween costumes on and didn't go to a local Halloween Party that we had planned on going to. So, at this point, we still don't know if either costume still fits us, but we think they do. We were ready for Trick or Treaters last night, but didn't think any would show up. We were wrong! We turned our front patio Halloween lights on and next thing we know, someone was knocking at our front door. Six young adults were dressed up and spoke very nicely. Gave them each two mini Milky Way bars. We were so, so happy that someone came. Now we are wondering if anyone will decorate their patio and/or inside their apartment for Christmas. We will do both! My wife loves to decorate for Easter, Halloween and Christmas. And, we never forget to put out our American flag for 4th of July, Memorial Day, Veterans Day and Flag Day.
