Anyone besides me watch DWTS? I’ve been a fan since it started. Thus far, confirmed contestants will be: Jodie Sweetin (Full House) Ginger Zee (ABC Good Morning America) Rumored but not confirmed: Marla Maples (hmmm....Trump’s ex) Geraldo Rivera (what?! really?) Kim Fields (Tootie from Facts of Life) Pro dancer Edyta will be back, and judge Len Goodman is returning. Juliannd Hough left to do other things. (I didn't like her as a judge), and Derek Hough is doing a broadway show. I still miss Cheryl Burke. The full cast will be announced on Tuesday March 8 on GMA. The show starts on March 21. http://www.masslive.com/entertainment/index.ssf/2016/03/dancing_with_the_stars_season_12.html
I usually enjoy Dancing with the Stars... and apparently the new season has started? If it did, I missed it.. Is anyone following it this year?
Yes. I like Ginger, Nyle, and a few others. Geraldo is stiff and I wonder if he just wanted to do his vault schtick. Kim Fields is very pretty but I don't care for the blonde hair. Glad Len & Edyta are back. I started a DWTS thread recently...maybe it can be combined with this one.
I've watched almost, if not all, seasons, and am watching this one. I'm not committed to watching the whole season yet, since there's only been one episode. I am also very glad that Edyta and Len are back. I don't have anything against Julianne, I like her too, and would be happy to see her back, as well, but I love Len, and always have. I am thinking Geraldo will be the first to go home.
Another thing... Marla is a good dancer but I don't think people like her. People remember Trump was married when they were seeing each other. Not all Marla's fault but still.... And, Marla's bread & butter comes from Donald Trump. Can voters put all that aside and just focus on her dancing? Not sure.
I did think Marla did much better than I expected. She also looks darn good to be 52 years old. I think it's on Monday night. I'll have to Google it to make sure or tell somebody to remind me.
We record each show and play back on our Comcast DVR so we can "fast forward" thru the commercials, what the judges say and go right to the dancing and scores. Doug Flute is stiff, as is Geraldo and a couple of others. However, there are a few that are going to be tough to beat.
