I got a Harley when I was sixteen. Had one kind or another till long after I retired. Sometime I would like to plan and take a bike trip again. I would also like to play a round of golf once in a while. Guess I'm a has-been. Welcome to the forum Julie Stewart.

I have the list but no bucket to put it in!
Actually, I had done just about everything I have set out to do in my life except the two things I have already started.

First, instead of being the primary theorist mentioned in a couple of published physics papers I want to be published as the author.

Second, in two or three more years I am going to enter into some bodybuilding competitions on a professional level in Alabama. I'll be 68 or 69 so it might be a little tougher than a few years ago.

Of course now, there is another thought going on concerning the afterlife but God will have to help me out with that one!

The closest I have come, is my occasional "to do" list. Since I have retired, I try to shy away from lists.;)

I agree Bill. I would rather have just a few which I can live to see and experience and not just an endless list of sorts.

Welcome to SCO, @Harry Kemp ! As I grow older, I'm leaning towards the impossibles, too. But not as exciting as your dream-wish as seeing an alien planet. ;) But I'd like to be wealthy, train and learn a trade and make money out of that expertise.

As for me no I don't have a bucket list and don't plan on one. Just can't afford much any way so we enjoy the best we can. We are so happy when our favorite television shows are on like yesterday Castle mini marathon was on and I just was glued to the set for it. I can't wait for a Charlie Chan mini marathon on TCM. I would like to travel the UK, learn how waltz, perform for payment, learn the piano and be proficient, and go to Las Vegas and hit all the best buffets and stay in a luxuury suite.

I'm resurrecting this old thread 'cause I love this topic, and time is running out, so I'm working on it feverishly right now. ;)

My bucket list has only very simple things on it. This is on purpose, so that they are still likely possibilities. That way it's not depressing.

    The latest cross-offs:
    1. First fresh pineapple. Pleasantly surprised. Will repeat
    2. First fresh mango. Too messy.
    3. First cheese stuffed crust frozen pizza. Just tastes like the dough was undercooked to me. :p

May update when I've crossed another one off.

I don't have a bucket list. I suppose my wants have been attainable so far, so if I were to have such a list it would read similar to @Nancy Hart 's.
