If you saw the Smoked Candied Salmon recipe I think you would change your mind. I'll bet you don't like salmon anyway. Right?

You would be correct, sir. (Though I do like salmon croquettes or patties.) I can't imagine a fishy taste with "candied."

Salmon filets marinated in Italian dressing and grilled over charcoal. Yum!

Smoked salmon from the Makah tribe. Double yum!

Love fried catfish. The only salmon I like is salmon patties, and those are probably about half flour.

At our favorite restaurant "Steer & Stein", they feature "Maple Broiled Salmon Filet", lightly seasoned, grilled with a light maple glaze. $17.49.

Candied Salmon is an offshoot of the Korean candied Carp.
If it’s prepared properly, the exterior of the fish is a hard candy like crust which can be completely removed by cracking it and laying it aside. The fish inside the crust maintains it’s own integrity but the candying process locks in a lot of the natural moisture and fats that are inherent to the fish itself.
I’m not a big fan of it but then again I can’t say anything bad about it either.

Catfish? Freshwater whole cat. Cast iron skillet fried. I’m ready to eat!
