I can't go back to check all the responses..... but..... When I was thinking of someone to call on the phone and they called me first, I would say.... Its your dime, so talk.... That comes from when a phone call used to cost 10 cents at a pay phone....

Lately I noticed a lot of people when they talk have a habit of saying ………………… You know something...……. My wife is one that uses that phrase very often when she talks on the phone ...
My son can drive me up a wall when he's telling me something and after every other sentence he'll say, you know. Clue: no, I do not know and stop it. lol.
I know how annoying that can be.... I also noticed that some people interviewed on TV also have that habit... It is annoying for sure..
Also if you listen to some of the people being interviewed on TV, every second word is...….. you know ….. If that isn't annoying…. They start a sentence with ……... "well, you know".....
