All arrogance and pretense of superiority vanishes when a cat chases its own tail or a piece of paper. The best part is that they know it, yet they still can't manage themselves.
Poor Bubba was neutered today. He had that cone off of his head before I had driven two blocks, and I've tried putting it back on him a few times, to no avail, so he will be doing without it. He is just as rambunctious as ever but, oddly enough, he keeps wanting to go back into his carrying container. Every other cat I have ever had, the first time a pet carrier was used to transport them to the vet, they wouldn't want to get near that thing afterward.
He has been sleeping every night in his travel container. He goes into it because he wants to. He's not locked in but that seems to be his secure space.
I have to sit on the edge of my chair because Bubba has decided that he needs to lie behind me on my chair, and then push because he wants more room.
