Ya'll know I am not a big FB fan, but I do check in from time to time. At about 6am today on my mobile phone, log in and was skimming thur. Off to the right, was suggested sites. It showed a site I belong to ...and a picture of me, that I have never ever posted anywhere! I even got the magnifying glass out and in better light. Nope that, was me! Appeared to be recent because of the glasses, and hair. The oddity was, the necklace, I rarely wear one and nothing ever that big or bulky. Also was the pose, head to the side slightly, hand cocked close to the head...nope ever posed for that. I tried to copy, would not work. I bookmarked the page, but when re opened, that picture was gone and the suggested site. I even tried to get it back by signing in on the desktop. I searched everything I could find, and got nowhere. I have sent a message to the moderator, to see if she has any ideas. Not sure why, as the picture was not bad, but this just blew me away, and can not let go of this. If it IS not me,I wanna met this woman, as we are identical! At best I need another look at that picture. Do you think me a screwball here, or am I justified in being concerned? @Ken Anderson , you have any input on this for me?
If you were on an iPad you could have taken a screenshot, that's what I always do when something is weird or I can't see it well enough. With a screenshot I can make it bigger plus it won't disappear since it's in my photos. I'm thinking it's just someone who looked a lot like you.
Chrissy.....I know that the myth has always been that we all have a twin somewhere...but that picture was me looking at me...glasses purple shirt...my color, the purple glasses the red hair... Just think it odd we could be that much alike !
Are you absolutely sure you have never posted that picture @Gloria Mitchell. It could have been one you shared with a friend, etc. Once a picture is on there unless you have made it so it can't be copied...it can be shared by others. If you don't have a necklace like that though...that would make the whole thing really strange. I hope you find the answer to this mystery Gloria.
Can't wait to hear what you find out. The necklace is weird but who knows maybe something got transposed somehow.
There are a number of photo embed sites on the Internet. Photofunia is just one example and is very easy to use. One member on this board uses this site and others. Since the beginning of social networking and uploading of photos, the photos become pretty much fair game to be used by any and all for whatever purposes.
Could someone else have taken that picture with their camera and posted it? This would work basically the same way as if you had posted it and could be shared, etc. And if a person has photo shop, etc. they could put a necklace or do just about anything they wanted to a picture of you...as you are probably aware of from some of @Jeff Tracy's posts. I'm not trying to make light of this Gloria...as I know it is upsetting to you...and I really hope you find your answers in this.
