Met a couple from Minnesota yesterday who are out for the game against my Titans. Had a nice chat and they said they were worried about the game. Worried about the Game? As a fan of a team that has lost repeatedly to EVERYBODY... It sure is nice to hear that some fans are worried.
I like college football the best...Maybe the friendly tiff I get into with my friend in Georgia. Were both from Ohio and she is a big Ohio State (Buckeyes) fan. I have relatives from Mobile Al. plus late husband was from Al. we seen a lot of Alabama State Crimson Tide games. They beat the heck out of the Buckeyes. According to her I'm a trader and just real bad...I remind her, football season is about to start...."Roll Tide."
Yeah it is, and my favorite team plays today the Washington Redskins. I just hope that they can redeem themselves after that disasterous loss against Pittsburgh. I think that it is just one of the things that we need to understand when looking at our teams. I don't really follow college football except for an ocasional Penn State game, but if I was from Alabama I would really be into college ball for sure. Roll Tide! That would be my call too!
Both my teams won their games. Nebraska Huskers are now ranked. Tennessee Titans beat the Detroit Lions.
Well the Redskins couldn't quite pull it off and lost a close game to Dallas. I mostly blame the QB who when he's hot, he's hot, and when he's not he's not. Of course their talented receivers can also be afflicted with drop the ball syndrome, but mostly the passes just didn't connect// Congratluations though Tim Burr, I am glad that somebody is happy! Well presumably Marilyn is too!
I haven't checked to see what Crimson Tide is doing. They beat Ole Miss. yesterday, and don't play Ohio State this season. When they did win over Ohio it was on a field goal. I didn't think it would happen
That's Great....I had cousins that lived outside of Clarendon, they had a rice farm they sold. Thought it was neat selling rice to Uncle Ben. The one cuz was a crop duster, and on grandmas 83rd. birthday she flew with cuz Perry.
It's been more years than I can count when both of my teams were winning. Nebraska is 8th in the polls at 6-0. Tennessee Titans have a 2 game win streak.
Not a lot of excitement about this trophy, but Air Force beat Army for the Commander's Trophy. I grew up watching and cheering for Navy because that's what my Dad was in for 30 years. Having served for over 20 years in the U.S. Air Force, had to switch teams to root for. Glad for the Falcons. Now...GO BIG RED, beat Ohio ST.
Is it football season? Maybe there's hope for my Bears this year....if not then I guess it's the 49ers. Not a college football fan.
The Nebraska Huskers are coming to Nashville for their Bowl Game! Just got tickets for the family. I...AM...Ready!
This is our Family's favorite College football team. Go Tigers! I'm more of an NFL fan than College but it's fun to have Family barbecues and watch all the younger bunch enjoying LSU playing...they can become really rowdy when their team is not living up to their expectations! Football and other sports brings people together for fun and laughter...and I'm all for anything that does that.
