well now we're being told that it's not going to happen come the 31st, so none of us know what's happening now... not even the darn Government who are acting like spoiled kids!!
Tories lost majority in parliament because Johnson had kicked some MPs out. Stop. Parliament forced Johnson not to leave the EU without deal and to ask Brussels for a further extension of Brexit. Stop. Next date is 31 Jan. Stop. Meanwhile there will be elections before Xmas (on 12 Dec. , just decided today. )No-deal Brexit is now less likely, an election victory of Johnson more likely. Stop.

I'm glad we aren't the only ones with a confused government. If politicians were employed in regular jobs, most would be fired the first week for being incompetent.
Ha ha - the short version is that the 'opposition' do 'not' want Brexit, they want to be tied to the EU This is why it has dragged on so long, ignoring the public vote ! Now - at least we have a fighter that 'will' get Brexit done - if ……... he wins this next election that is

That is exactly what bugs me about the whole thing; the Brexit vote was held but the government has yet to follow the majority's wishes. I always wondered why the EU was a thing at all; I'd much prefer my country to remain autonomous and in complete control of our own affairs.
Appears a lot more conservatives will be leaving. Is that troubling? And also, is Brexit favored more by conservatives or liberals? (Sorry to be so ignorant.)
Its a 'big' mystery to me too BTW - the Lib Dems want to remain ! Nothing democratic about them that's for sure
That's easier said if your country happens to be a whole continent. Policies that work in larger countries fail to do so in smaller ones. That's why there has been this drive to unite in order to grow or, at least, to survive.
@Thomas Stearn - Europe can 'unite' without 'control' I have seen no benefit to countries such as Greece and Italy - resentment can be the only outcome
