Bill, Nora Roberts is a good story teller. Most of her books are trashy romance novels but some of them have a really good plot. I have read some of them that are westerns. One I remember is Montana Sky. I haven't read the trashy romances but she made a fortune writing them. I'm glad you mentioned her books. I see that she has written quite a few that I haven't read. I'm going to buy some of them.
You have a library where you could get them? I know she’s a good storyteller. It why I read her. I can’ aways tell though what’s going to be a good read. But I thibnk several of her books has been ade into movies. Some of these should be a god read.
I don't usually complain when someone gives me a birthday present but someone did load me up. I got two pair of pants, four tee shirts, three pair of undershorts, and a pair of pajamas. These were bought at Target. I unwrapped everything and threw the wrapping away since they were a gift. Each pair of undershorts were individually wrapped and the brand name was: A Pair of Robbers. The pants are some kind of new wranglers: They say, Wrangler All Terrain Wear. What they are are rags with pockets. The pair of pajamas still have the tags attached but I couldn't get out and return them for correct size or or something wearable. I kept the tee shirts and donated the rest to Special Olympics. I've never treated a gift this way before but dang I am a little particular what I wear.
I am soaking my feet in one of those bubble bath heated pans with scratchers. My son is coming over shortly to cut my toenails He is good at what he does.
@Shirley Martin Another one of hers just came out in digital form, The Welcoming, I believe it is. Right now I’m reading a book by John Connolly, The Dirty South. Thanks. I‘ll check on the Carolina book soon.
I got up early this morning. I wanted to shower, wash my head in the process, and there was dirty dishes in the sink. I have my best energy in the mornings. My son would be coming by later to cut my hair. He made the remark later while he was cutting my hair. He said, “You don’t have much hair to cut.” He also cut my toe nails and my finger nails. Even so, I need a haircut once in a while.
I have broken out in a rash and it itches and is about to drive me crazy. I sit around minding my own business. I thought at first it might be a second round of measles but now it covers me from the center of my chest almost to my knees. I’m taking a daily allergy pill. What could bring on such a thing?
Is it where your skin comes into close contact with clothing? New clothes you've never worn before? Different laundry detergent? Soap not rinsed out of laundry well? Heat rash? Mild case of shingles? (I have no idea what shingles is like)
.No, laundry detergent is same. Can’t say I’ve eaten anything different. Not shingles; I’ve had them. It doesn’t look like heat rash photos google showed me. I don’t know. My nurse is coming to see me Monday morning. I ‘ll run by her but betting she won’t know. Hoping it will clear up..
