Part of my family lkiving here in Norman left today flying to Italy. My Daughter in Law's mother is in the hospital. As soon a she is able she will be turned over to Hospice. She has some serious physical ailments and has dementia. And my daughter lies in Seton Hospital with pneumonia as well as multiple myeloma. She is in intensive care. There is nothing quite so helpless as one who cannot help his own children.
My best wishes to your precious daughter and other family members, Bill. I know you must be beside yourself with worry.
I'm almost through with the book, Bill. My heart aches for your and your wife's heart. {{{{{Hugs}}}}} for y'all.
My daughter does appear to be better. She was breathing at fifty lpercent when she entered the hospital, now she is breathing at fifty-eight percent. That's enough to make me black out. They are investigating whether she has pneumonia or her lungs are damaged by the chemo she has been taking for the multiple myeloma. Her oldest said he was cautiously optimistic.
Chemo is vile, Bill. I'm glad to hear that your daughter is improving and I hope she doesn't have any permanent lung damage.
@Bill Boggs - so very sorry to read all this Bill. I had no idea you were enduring such family health issues. Hopes and prayers to you and family at your time of need.
My daughter has been in ICU now for several days. They have been runnming tests to see why she got pneumonia and to see why she is not responding to treatment for pneumonia and to determine if Chemo has damaged her lungs. She has neen taking chemo for nine years for Multi Myeloma. They found damage to both lungs and her heart from chemo. She is still in ICU and will remain there for four or five more days while thay run more tests. The doctor's words were he was guardedly optimistic.
