@Bill Boggs hospice won't snuff you out, but will make you more comfortable if you qualify. I used to work with a hospice program, and at that time you had to have a prognosis of less than 6 months. Some folks lived longer and I never knew anyone to be "kicked out" of the program once qualified. We had at-home hospice, as at the time I worked with them, there was no residence hospice program. I never worked with a VA hospice, so I don't know if that differs from a Medicare program or not. If you have loved one caring for you, the hospice volunteers can relieve them so they can get a break, go shopping, or run personal errands and not worry that you are alone. Overall, I think it is a great program if you qualify.

After lying in bed for few days I am feeling better this morning. My shortness of breath does not bother me as much
and I have a little more energy. I got out of b at 8:15, sat in my wheelchair then walked it to the kitchen and put on
the coffee. After a short rest, I mobile to the office and paid a few bills, utilities, Tv and internet, and phone. Had breakfast in my lounge chair using a lap board. I’m going to lie back and take a rest now.

Things have changed. For one thing I am sleeping more. I am doing little to to use up my breathing; I move slower and don't waste motion.
And I have changed my wardrobe. Instead if getting up and pulling on a pair of britches as I sit on the side of the bed, I now sleep in pajamas.
I wear them all day then back to bed at night. I bought new pajamas so that I have an abundance and I change whenever I feel like it.That
saves energy and makes me nott feel the shortness of breath so much.

My blood oxygen at its best is at 90 or 91 % and my oxygen machine is on 41/4 liters per minute. S o it is taking moree oxygen to keep me ticking.
I bought a new razor the other day and was going to try and shave this afternoon but think I'll wait till morning. I notice it is easier to put things off.
