So tonight , Bobby and I discovered a new app for our Apple Watch, and I think that it is going to be something we really like once we get a bit more used to how it works. Basically, if functions just like a regular WT does, except that it is not constrained by distance like one with an antenna is. You set up the app, add your contacts, and then just press someone’s name, and the app will signal them that you want to talk. You press the yellow button on the screen, hold it down when talking, and then wait for the other person to do the same thing to answer you. You can accomplish the same connection with a phone call, but for a short conversation, just sending the WT message is maybe quicker, not to mention ......fun ! Since distance doesn’t matter, you can use this app with any friend/contact anywhere, and not just when someone is close. You can set yourself as not available if you are going to be somewhere you would not want to be interrupted with a call, just like with the phone. Basically, it is similar to a FaceTime audio call, and works on the same app tools.
