This coming Wednesday which is the 13th of September is my dearest Princess (my wife Annmarie) will be having a ................ Birthday..

I will be having some friends over for afternoon tea along with some canopies that I will make..
Coincidently, it is also the Birthday of the wife of our friends as well, which means a double celebration..
I will be buying a cake for the 4 of us.. A small cake will do just fine as we don't want any leftovers..
Every year those 2 girls get together for their Birthday.. At our age, only a card will do.. We are past the exchanging of presents stage..
I offered my dear wife the option of a lovely Birthday present from me but she turned me down...

A trip around the world
A multi million $$$ villa estate

She decided with her problematic ankle and my new shoulder that, it might be best to stay home and relax..

 

Your Princess is a real princess Steve not to accept those birthday presents that you offered.!

At our age, the big to-do of parties has pretty well gone..
The best thing is to have the honour of celebrating one more year..

Remember............. Getting old is a privilege that not everyone has...

Getting ready for the BIG day on Wednesday which is my Princess (Annmarie) birthday..
We are having over guests for afternoon tea and canopies..
I will be making a very special supper for her as well..

Next year will be the very BIG special one.. 3/4 of a century...
