Well better keep your long-johns on then. :D ..Keep warm!!

Our recent AARP magazine had some nice write ups about Montreal and Quebec, Canada.. looks like a beautiful city..
Loved the cobble stone streets when we visited Quebec too..

    Good luck with your fishing..
Yes, if the temperature is above -10c, it is considered warm up here.. Above freezing is really warm..

My BIL in law who lives in Canada told me yesterday that he has seen it frost in June and September. The only months he has not seen frost is July and August.

We generally don't plant our vegetables till the first week-end in June..
Seeds can go in the ground about one week earlier but not before that..

By labour day, the first week-end in September, we have to watch the weather very closely as frost is not far away...

We are in the middle of a bruiser snow storm as I post this..
So far we have received 30 cms of the white stuff with another 20 more cms to come making a total of 50 cms of snow.. That's 20 inches of snow with winds of up to 80 kms.. That's 50 mile per hour winds making blowing snow.. Schools were closed today..

We had rain today to wash away some of the pollen but that's only temporary. More to come for the next couple of weeks. But, at least, it's not snow! :D
