Here is some more information ...I've been there and seen them they are huge http://www.environorth.org.au/windows/all/all_termites.html
That is fascinating information, Kate. I wonder if they are related to the termites that are such a problem for us in the southern US? They eat the wood in our homes and buildings.
I believe that may just eat grass ?? Will have to do a bit of study myself ...Termites are a real problem in Aust ,we have to have our home sprayed to prevent them eating our home ...We call them White Ants ..
It's taking me forever to post a reply here. The little thingy just sits and spins. I think it might be because of my Norton antivirus. I think it started just about the time I installed Norton. I paid for it for a year but I'll be danged (insert cussword) if I'll put up with this aggravation. I'm going to get rid of it tomorrow. Good night, friends. See y'all tomorrow.
Good Night Shirley ,hope you're able to sort this issue out ...I say to my daughter if you're fed up with the computer ..make sure the windows open before you throw it through the window ....or you will end up with a broken window as well as a dead computer
I have a confession ...I messed up in Bakers Dozen right from the start ...Now you'd think I would know what state landmarks are in my country ,wouldn't you ..I put Western Aust for Kings Canyon .....no no ..silly woman .. It's in Northern Territory..and ive been there and climbed the steep side of the canyon ...(3 hour climb walk) it's spectacular ..I will find a link and comeback and add . https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kings_Canyon_(Northern_Territory)
I have dumped Norton and installed McAfee and I am still having problems posting here. I don't know what else to do. It takes a long time to load a page then when I scroll, it looks like it is temporarily stuck. Do any of you have problems? Do any of you have any advice for me?
Shirley.. I used to use "Microsoft securities" for years and years and I NEVER had any problems at all..... EVER !!! Its free and you can download it from Google.... I now use Kaspersky which is NOT free but my computer man suggested I try it and so far, it is OK... I don't see any different between what I have now and Microsoft Securities....
I am running a complete scan of my computer. If there is a problem, it ought to find it and fix it. Cross your fingers and anything else you can cross. It's been running since this morning... Good night, all.
