Thanks Kate.. I was just asking, but it is very informative.. hope you get some really hot weather when you go up north.. After all, that is why you are going up there..
I think it's good if we can learn a little more about the rest of the world ...that way you can get an idea of the type of climate / areas / wildlife where fellow members live ..I would have loved to go to the States when my friend asked me ..but uncertain times / flying makes you think twice about venturing far from home It was 27c up the Gold Coast yesterday ...10c here ...it makes the poor ole bones feel a little better in a warmer climate for the coldest part of our winter ....mind you I'd hate to be up there in their summer I believe Feburary and March are very humid ...
I agree with the flying thing.. For that reason, we have decided to stay close to home this summer and do some day trips to areas close to us that we have never seen.. We also go to some PowWow's in our area which is quite an experience.. We have some native friends that encourage us to go ... We here have the Indian tribe of Ojibway which is quite something... That is where I get all that wild meat in the fall.. Bear, Moose, Beaver, Deer, and Sturgeon..
I'm not certain what Sturgeon is ? I could ask MR Google but that take brain stimulating games time away Do the Indian people live in reservations? ..I had a pen pal for many years from the states ( before Internet days) She sent me a hand made necklace made by Indian people ..unfortunately I lost it somewhere .it was a Beautifull touquise blue ...She actually came out to Aust to meet me that would have been close to 30 years ago
Sturgeon is a fish ... BIG !!! There is a reservation just across the river from where we live about 5 kilometers away.. Most of the natives live everywhere and have excellent jobs including professional positions.. Some wish to remain on reservations for their personal reasons..
When you have a chance, Google sturgeon.. Interesting fish and you will be surprised.. Very surprised.. The brain games are exactly that.. Time wasters is more like it.. Off to bed as it is just past midnight here.. Nice playing games and wasting time.... Google Sturgeon...................................................................
Steve thanks for games ..Byee I'm back .. I looked at Sturgeon fish, looked up in Wikipedia ..sounds like they date back to the Dinosaur era And huge ..you'd feed a whole family for a month on just one of them
Kate... I must be very dumb because that REBUS game is way over my head.. I have NO idea what is going on with it.. That is why I don't play it.. it was NEVER explained so that I can understand what I am supposed to do.. Actually, it doesn't matter because there are sooooo many games that one more or less doesn't matter.. There are several that have been dropped anyway which is a good thing.......
Same here Steve beyond me ...I've had a couple of guesses but I just don't "get it" What time is it where you live ? Steve ...It's almost 6.30 pm here ...my favourite TV programs don't start for another hour or so after the football has finished ...it's very stormy / windy / wet here TV reception dropping in and out as usual
Almost 5:00am on Sunday morning.. I got up to go to the bathroom and couldn't fall back asleep, so I came on here for a while till I get sleepy again which is about now.. Back to sleep for a few more hours.. Have a great day..... C U later ..
Rebus games are simply puzzles that give your brain cells a workout. A simple Google will explain how to play them... http://brainden.com/picture-rebus-puzzles.htm You can have either word rebus games or picture rebus games....they are very popular games However, I guess they're for people who use the games on the forum to keep their brains sharp and keen and not for those who simply play just to 'waste time'...
Us old farts like to relax and just waste time... Its about the only thing left that we can enjoy till its over.. My 2 little brain cells are now on vacation which means thinking will have to wait till later..
