Yes we had lunch at a country cafe ,we had a country made beef hamburger ( nothing like Macdonalds ) we had one between us they were so big
you had a Wopper!! LOL .. home made hambuger is the best.. its not kangaroo meat is it? do people eat Kangaroo meat?
well, I would guess they are wild animals so I bet they must taste gamey too, ,that's like deer meat you have to add a lot of spices to get the gamey tasted out of it..
Ever eat Beaver ???? Delicious... Tender and not gamey... Moose ???? Awesome in slow cooker with veggies.. Bear ???? Must be well cooked slowly... Great when minced, and mixed with Moose and made into sausages...
never beaver,, !! moose - yes! bear- no! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Going to have to go now Patsy. see you later ?
Never in history has It been so hot up here for so long.. Another day that the temperature is over 30c ....The humidex is over 38c which is 100f ..... We are not used to that kind of weather and above all, there has been NO rain for the past month.. The fact it is dry is extremely dangerous.. Not for our personal gardens and grass, but for the environment.. Forest fires and we are under a "NO FIRE BURNING" at present.. Not even a small campfire.. Personally, we have a window air conditioner in the living room and ceiling fans in the bedroom.. Nights are cool enough that we can sleep OK... This isn't a complaint, but just to let you know that we up here are in HELL !!!!
@Steve North ...your summer sounds exactly like the summer ,we had never had the need,to have our AC going constantly due to living near the sea, but the AC was going day and night All summer only turning it off for about two hours a day .....I hope we don't have another summer like that again .. I mentioned on here about getting excited to get rain as we didn't see a drop for 6 months it was really hard to breathe it was so bad ,so please don't send your summer our way we don't want it again This winter we have had the coldest ,wettest wild wind storms on record ..the winds have blown down tress that have stood for over 100 years, damaged our fragile cliffs where we live ,destroyed a Jetty ( where we live as well as in Adelaide that had been there for years ) I popped in to say Hi to friends and let them know I'm enjoying my nice sunny days up here in Queensland ,while thinking about my family and friends freezing down in SA .. Been busy enjoying myself.,soaking up,the sun
Kate......... Enjoy the heat while you have it... Should you want some, I can always e-mail you some as we have plenty.. Queensland always has nice weather according to my sister-in-law who lives in Brisbane ....She is a nurse in the hospital.. Take care and put some sun screen on when you go out....
Steve, its has been record breaking heat here too, yes it does get hot here but not for this long and not days and months on end of 90 ยบ weather !! we had a wildest , noisiest ,storm last night ..the lighting bolts and really loud cracks of thunder made me almost jump out of bed, I thought we were in a war zone!! Hope we don't have a storm like that again.. Yowzers!! have a great day everyone., may be back later,,
Finally it got cooler up here.. The daytime temperature is very acceptable at around the 20c to 23c mark and nights are 10c to 15c mark making it perfect to sleep.... Now that's more like it...!!!!!!!!!...
Steve, I saw a cute sign today. It said, "A man is like a fish, Every time he opens his mouth, he gets into trouble." I though of your siggy when I read it.
