They offended the countries clothing laws ,apparently Malaysian culture doesn't allow people to wear that type of attire @Shirley Martin
Shirley, and Kate, Steve, anyone??? im back now.. but where art thee? no one is here.. i've been in the state of Kentucky to see Noah's Ark the last 3 days.... yep , I really did see it,, only this Ark was built mostly by the Amish ... its massive in size.. be back tomorrow..
I'm back... GOOD NEWS !!!!!!!!!!! I don't need a shoulder replacement... after the doctor examined me and twisted and pulled my arm like a wrestler would, he said that a shot would be the best thing for me.. He will give me the shot on the first week of December and not before because he is away for the next 4 weeks, otherwise I would get it next week.. The shot in the shoulder socket is a combination of cortisone and silicone and according to him, it should do the trick of elevating the pain which is caused by friction of the ball in the socket .. The cortisone will reduce the inflammation while the silicone will lubricate the joint.. This shot could last anywhere from 6 months to lifetime.. Nobody knows but it is well worth a try as it might be a long term affect.. Till then however, I must keep on suffering and keep on taking my pain killers that do help.. I take oxycotin pills for the pain and they work perfectly..
Steve, hi there, good to hear your getting the shot. my sis has a bad hip but the doc gave her that shot and it helped her for about 6 mo. too, then she had another one. she is up in her years. 84 ...and a hip replacement or any kind of surgery..is just out of the question for her ..
Thanks for the reassurance Louise.. I was a bit hesitant when he first suggested the shot, but now I am confident that it is the proper way to go.. I am not that old ................ yet .......... but I am getting up there.. What I have going for me is that I am in good health and not overweight that much.. The shot might just buy me enough time so that I can avoid another shoulder replacement.. I had my left shoulder replaced in October 2010 and it is 100% good.. I have no complaints on the decision I made then.. Today I can pick-up a propane tank that is full which weighs about 38 pounds or so with my left arm.. No problem.. No pain at all..
Good news for you Steve ,not needing major surgery .. In Aus they are treating shoulders and knees with stem cells @Steve North ..but you have to be rich to afford the treatments
Kate.... I checked very carefully and I noticed that my stems do not have any cells that I can see.... Well, that puts that idea to rest.................................................. LOL As far as being rich goes, let me inform you that...................... Money isn't a problem I have in life.. its the lack of money that is the problem.................................................. LOL
This is Thanksgiving Week-end up here in Canada.. Monday is a holiday and everything will be closed.. Turkeys will be cooking in many ovens.. Traditional baking for desert.. Families will be gathering for the traditional dinners.. While all this is going on, we (my wife and I) will be going about our day just like normal.. No turkey.. No shopping.. No family.. No traditional dinner.. No traditional baking.. Just the 2 of us enjoying each other and most likely working the out of doors preparing for winter..
