OK........... Just to keep you up to date on my condition.... I want to tell you what condition my condition is in....... I am feeling much better now that I had the shot.. The pain in my shoulder has almost completely gone.. Just a slight tingle when I move it in a certain position.. (I know, don't move in that position).... The X-Ray showed the ball and socket of the shoulder is "bone on bone' and there is nothing to be done other than a shot for now, but on the long run, I will definitely need a total shoulder replacement.. There is NO way anyone can tell how long the effect of the shot will last.. Some it wore off after just 3 months, while some got up to 2 years out of it.. Personally, I know I will eventually need an operation to replaced the shoulder, however if I can buy time, why not.. In 2010 (October) I had the left shoulder replaced, so I know what I am in for.. It isn't pleasant and it takes an awful long time to recuperate from it.. The right shoulder is worse as I am right handed and that means quite the adjustment.. I had just over 6 months of physiotherapy going twice a week.. I guess we will cross that problem when we have to, meanwhile why not enjoy the relief I have while it lasts.. Tired, you bet.. I was sooooo nervous before the shot that I hardly slept for the few nights before.. Now I realise there was nothing to it, but I am still extremely tired.. I sleep about 11 hours almost every night since the shot.. We will survive.... That's it for now and I want to thank everyone for their concern....
me too. Steve the shoulder replacement thing would not be pleasant from what you told us of your left shoulder... Lets hope this shot gets you by for a long time..! Thank You Pasty for the Birthday Hug....I'm another year older and deep in debt,, LOL.///
I guess this is OK to post here on game chat ..cause that's mainly where I stay ' n' play on here ... I had a phone call from a friend yesterday afternoon she's been thinking about going to the U.S ...AGAIN... next year ..she's been three times already and asked f I'd be interested in going with her (at my cost) She knows her way around some of the places of interest .On Her first trip over there 4 years ago ,she went with her cousin who lives in Australia ..but had lived for a period of time in the states so she had her own private tour guide to show her around .. I don't really think I'd be brave enough .... to even concider flying for that long , I'd love to go but !!!!!!!! .. Now anyone, who lives in the US ......do you have any seggestions/ areas you think I would visit ? If I take up.her offer I picked up a few books today on trips / tours,my friend recommended ,I will look at them, and work out if I say yes where I'd like to see/ go...but there's nothing like getting a recommendation from someone who knows what the tourist attraction is like .. It would only be me and her ..she is widowed ..

It is now almost 8:30am on Monday the 5th of December.. It started snowing last night (Sunday) around supper time and as of now, it is still snowing nonstop.. So far we have received about 20cms which is about 8 inches but the snow doesn't seem like it is ready to give up.. The good thing is there is almost no wind to go with it which makes things much easier to cope with.. No blowing snow which is something else.. The temperature is mild at only -4c.. Actually, it looks very pretty out there with a white blanket of fresh snow..

There ended up being so much snow that the driveway had to be cleaned twice.. It stopped snowing but they are calling for another 50 or so cms from now to the week-end...
Actually to make a bad situation worse, we are now under a "Snow Squall" advisory.. That means we could receive a lot more snow with high winds and a complete white-out.. BRING IT ON AS WE NEED SNOW AS WELL AS COLD TEMPERATURES... CAN'T POSSIBLY GET TOO MUCH SNOW AND CAN'T BE TOO COLD ... We make big $$$$ from all this.. This keeps our village alive... Snow and very cold temperatures..
Kate, there are so many great places to visit in the US. In NC, we have the Great Smoky Mountains and some of the best beaches in the world. I know you have seen a lot of beaches, probably all you ever care to see. But does Australia have mountains? If y'all come here, I'd be happy to have y'all spend a few nights with me. Do y'all cook and clean? Louise, 'scuse me for a minute. I went and bought $75 worth of Christmas candy yesterday and I'm going to get some of it to be snacking on while I play. BRB
