Ruby, if the bear eats fish on Fridays then yes he's catholic, but most times bears are eating food at the campground dumps or out of garbage cans..

They are all sleeping this time of the year.. Hibernating actually..

 

Guess I forgot to add that Steve, to the knowledge I have about bears..

We are off out of town today to Sudbury which is about 135 kms east of Massey just to break the "cabin fever" of being cooped up in a small village during the long winter..
Do some shopping, have a decent meal out in a decent restaurant, Go to Walmart, (wow what a treat) browse the mall, and come home pooped out..

 

Sounds like a nice day for you both to get away.
We do that on occasion too.. we are still kinda new to the area ..
It will be 3 yrs June 1st. since we moved here from Maine..
We only miss all the good fresh seafood we had in Maine and the Lobsters too, of course...

 

Kate, Please go look at your birthday post in "Don't know where it goes." I thought more people would see there than if I put it in games. I would hate for you not to get to see it because I put it there.

Steve, I hope y'all had a good, fun outing and traveled safely.

We are home safe and sound..
Naturally we had a bruiser of a snow storm coming home.. Drove home at about 80 kms all the way with almost NO visibility.. My car has traction control which was a great help.. It was on all the way and was being used.. I also have 4 snow tires with carbide studs in them which helped as well..
We ended up getting only 25 cms of snow but the wind and blowing snow was something else..

Today will be a resting up day with little going out.. Only to the post office for the mail that I get twice a week..

PS ... We had a marvelous time .. Really enjoyed the outing.. We also went to Sears where we shopped.. Walmart of course and we went to a Greek restaurant for some lovely food....
