So am I but I will be off to bed shortly.. Extremely tired tonight.. Had quite the active day with walking the dog, taking out some patio furniture from winter storage in the shed, hanging up 2 loads of washing on the clothes line, and making a BBQ for supper as well as cleaning up after supper..
Louise, I refuse to lie down and give up.. I will continue to be of some use around here as long as I can.. Soon I will be in a different state, but till then, I will always try to pull my weight around the house.. Next week (weather permitting) I will be bringing out the tractor that is in winter storage at present..
I feel for you @Von Jones havng shingles ,my husband had them last year and he got the antiviral meds in time and his didn't blister at all ,he only had a small amount on his back and chest . I qualified for the free shingles injection this year ( I'm 71) the GP said it didn't mean you won't get them ,by having the injection but it stops the serverity of the pain ..I've never had them and I hope I never get them ..but I know several who have had shingles and I know a lady who had it three times . See you at games soon I was also wondering where you were .
Shingles has to be one of the worst and underrated diseases there are... Pain is excruciating and could last for one heck of a long time.. There really isn't any cure once you get it, ....... I think.. The only cure is .... time...
Steve, one of our friends who had it three times, has permement and never ending pain from 5 years ago

I have an appointment with my doctor on May 31st to take the final X-Rays and have a discussion on what exactly he will be doing as well as what I should expect during and after the operation.. I also will be meeting with the anesthetic doctor who will be talking to me about the different options.. Just put me to sleep and that's all....... I am scheduled for June 27th for the operation.. No time yet but it most likely will be extremely early in the morning, like 8:00am which means I will have to be at the hospital for 6:00am.. Good to get it over with early in the day..
