We went to a nearby dance Friday evening 6- 9 pm and a man we have known for years was saying this area I’ve posted photos of was once a little fishing village , now its a very busy area with never ending sky scraper accommodation being built The modern trend here and also in Canberra is to build a supermarket , then build all accommodation around and on top of the supermarket. so it all one building ….This building is a pub , with an huge outdoor eating area , (it was a single story pub) I’ll take a photo of the front area latter that overlooks the beach . I seen a notice online yesterday for one of the units that’s going to be auctioned, it mentioned the estimated …..MONTHLY …… payment to buy the unit would be approx $9.000 yes NINE thousand $$$+ a MONTH …that’s if you have a spare $300.000 deposit and not forgetting …..all these buildings charge body corporate fees that’s supposed to cover any repairs / water / council rates that’s an extra $ 2000 a month ….OMG only the very rich can afford such luxuries ( The building is just being finished off , as they are brand new ) its the building that i mentioned up here ^^^^^
its beautiful Kate but i would not live in that place for the main reason ..i love country living better then lots of traffic and tall buildings and not to mention the elevators too!! OYE!! but hope they made it Fire proof, and Tornato and Hurricane proof! LOL
Me to I like country living , it’s nice here for a holiday to do as we do by “ escaping from our state a little while to ovoid a bit of the bone chilling winter winds “ but no way ….. would I live in a place like this @Louise Miller

It ok as a once a year food , but that’s it ….steve it’s reserved for when we visit Queensland once a year . The hamburger joint is a stand alone shack near the tweed river in Tweed Heads.. New South Wales , which is right on the QLD border
Kate... I agree that once in a while to indulge is acceptable, but not as a regular diet.. I also go overboard once in a while and then regret it.. Not very many games tonight as I must get up extremely early tomorrow.. I have someone coming to help me put down a new floor on my patio.. The present floor is almost 20 years old and is rotten.. The patio is 20 feet X 20 feet which will take us 2 days to do...
Hot here today.... Very here today... Very very hot here today... It was 35c and with the humidex it was 44c... Crazy hot... Tomorrow it is supposed to be even hotter.......
Shoot, y'all don't know nuthin' 'bout heat. We're getting 97/98/99 this weekend with heat indexes in the 100s. And I have a family gathering Saturday at my brother's house. But thankfully, he has a large building that he has put two air conditioners in temporarily. I hope they will cool it enough with people coming in and going out often.
