Well, last year I had turned 3/4 of a century which is 75 years old.. This year I believe I will be one year older than last year... I will let you do the math which is rather simple...
Thank-you everyone for the lovely Birthday wishes.. I really appreciate them... I just got back from my doctor's visit and I am truly exhausted .. I will get back on here as soon as I can have a good night's sleep and become a human being again.. Briefly, everything is a GO for the operation on the 27th of June.. All tests came back giving me a clean bill of health.. Those trips are getting harder and harder as I am getting older.. Oh well, at least I am still able to do them.. Getting old is a privilege that many unfortunately don't have..
Yep have to agree with you Steve ...NOW ....my very annoying iPad wants to charge your name to Stevia every time I type it ... so I got side tracked what I was going to,say .... silly iPad !!! Now back to being sensible ..my favorite brother passed away at exactly one month off his 15th birthday in 1964 , so I say we get old if we're lucky ..my brother Ronald didn't have that chance due to epilepsy
Steve, I fully understand that when you're older long trips can be exhausting, I'm sure this last one has really taken it's toll on you, but remember you're doing it in great pain as well which will double the tiredness too.... , it must be really hard for you, but hopefully after your surgery, and recovery you'll be back to feeling so much younger...not long to go now... I know you're not looking forward to the surgery but having had it done before on your other shoulder as well as other areas... you know that the short term pain, is the long term gain....I hope this next 3 weeks goes as fast as possible for you. be well soon my friend!!
Holly.. Thanks for the encouragement.. You are not wrong when you say it will get better in the long run.. its just that for the moment, IT HURTS LIKE THE DICKENS... I am up on here at 3:45 am and I just took a strong pill as the pain woke me up from a deep sleep.. Only a few more weeks and hopefully I will be laughing at this moment with NO MORE PAIN...
It is now 4:15 and I am off to sleep again as the pain has almost gone after that strong pill.. I took 2 Oxycontin pills for the pain.....
Thanks Louise.. I slept like a baby and ended up having almost 11 hours of sleep.. I must of been tired to sleep that long.. Well, here I am again tonight at just after 11:00pm and I am very sleepy, so off to bed I will go till the pain will wake me up later on and I will take my pills...
WoW....11 hours sleep....that's a first for you through this current pain Steve... you must have needed it...
Holly.. When I say I was tired, I meant IT... Normally 8 or so hours of sleep should do it, but I was exhausted.. Now, this past night, I was up only once to take my pain killers that worked perfectly, and I also ended sleeping about 8 hours, but broken sleep.. Saturday and naturally there is lots of work to be done around the house...
I don't think Steve has any neighbours...well not close ones anyway..I believe he lives on large acreage in a village..
