We were driving back home from Sault Ste. Marie and the sky was totally clear.. There was absolutely NO sign of an eclipse up north where I live.....
yep Steve.. you were way out of range.. I have seen partial eclipses too .. not much of a big deal as this event was tho..
Perhaps it is for the better that I didn't see any of the eclipse as I am not the biggest connoisseur of astrology.. An eclipse is an eclipse and nothing else.. I am not impressed with anything to do with the stars as I don't understand them.. When we have a campfire at night with a clear sky, I enjoy looking up at the millions of stars up there but that's all..
I always love to look out my window at night to look at the stars when I go to bed.... puts me right to sleep..
There's another one in 2024. It looks like it will be total in Quebec. Let's all load up and go see it.
I have a much better idea.. Why don't you guys all come here to Massey and stay with us and see the eclipse... I live not far from Sudbury and just on top of Lake Huron.. 2024........... your on !!!! April 8, 2024 will be the next full eclipse and it will be over Ontario just south of me...
Joyce ..what's the name of the closest airport to you? Shirley and I could jet up to that airport.. no problem!
You guys will just have to put up with my cooking.. I promise you that you will not starve.. Food galore.. Also with my dog..... A 6 pound Pomeranian that never barks unless there is a reason.. Very affectionate.. Also the occasional black bear that wanders over to our house.. They are harmless unless they are hungry but they are always hungry.. Foxes, rabbits, coyotes, deer, just to name a few others.. NO skunks at all.. Campfires all you want especially in the evenings.. BBQ's as often as you want.. My wife (Annmarie) is the easiest going person you will ever meet.. That is why I call her "My Princess".... you will find that up here there is NO pressure, no stress, no hurry, no noise, and no worries.. You basically do what you want when you want.. You will be breathing air that hasn't been breathed before..... Clean crisp air... WELCOME !!!
Thank you for the nice welcoming invitation , Steve.. my bags are packed and now I'm just waiting for Joyce and Shirley to show up in her Jet at the airport...
Steve, from what you post about your cooking, we are in for some good eatin'. After we finish, Louise and Joyce will wash the dishes while you, Annmarie and I go for a walk and breathe that fresh air.
:Louise, glad I can be included in the trip. The closest airport is called New Garden. Not sure they are able to handle jets...so better go to Philadelphia. Sis...you're invited to wash dishes too....would never leave you out of treats Steve, we've never 'met'...but I can bring along a skunk if you would like.
Thank'ee, kindly for the invite, Sis, but I'm sure you and Louise will do an excellent job of it without my help. You can wash, Louise can dry and Steve can pick up the pieces. I'll help by staying out of the way.
