Gas was under $2 in Bangor a couple of days ago, although Millinocket stations are still gouging us, by comparison.
At $2.00 p/gallon, my son filled his car, his boat and 4 jerry cans to keep on hand when summer prices soar. Gee, when I was a kid gas was a mere 17 cents a gallon. But, the cost of living was quite different.
There are predictions - Fox News - that gas prices could go below $1 per gallon, attributing the lowered prices to the coronavirus. Gas prices below $1/per gallon and the government sending me a check for $1,000. I'm starting to like that virus.
I guess I can take advantage of the reduced gas prices to fill up a quarter tank and gas cans for my lawn mower
