What?? You're going to climb to the top of that monstrosity? You two must be in great shape! And riding elephants today? You sure have a helluva bucket list you're whittling down. Oh, I almost forgot this was the goodnight thread.

I trust you've gone to bed early but Goodnight and sleep well.

 

Yes we made it to the top, but the elephant ride was put off till tomorrow
It's 10:30 pm here so off to sleep as we have another early start tomorrow,

What a beautiful place Terry! I'd be happy to stay in that lush yard all day. I like those little umbrellas on top to the chairs!

 

Those were the very lapwings. Here's a rather distant view of the fish eagle we were watching.

 

Wow…he really shows up in all that vegetation and with rocks the same color. Takes a good photographer to make that happen. Good photo!

Talking of eagles our driver pointed this one out earlier today and called it the small eagle, I manages to get a shot of it high up in a tree, you are the bird expert Tom so what type of eagle is it?​

I think that it's a Brahminy Kite. We saw quite a few in Sri Lanka, usually around water.

 

It's Been a long hard day., it's past 10pm.......I've got about 5 minutes of energy left...so while I still can still function...I've come to wish you all a great rest of your day and nite nite from this side of the pond see you in the morning...
