Yesterday, NYE, I looked up NYE events at the Queen Mary and they still go "all out" for NYE celebration. Live music, both Big Band in one area and Rock in another area. Buffet Dinner, Champagne and Party Favors for Midnight. Also, a rather large Fireworks Show at Midnight.

As for us, we ate supper at home, later watched the Ball come down at 9PM our time, shortly after, went to bed. Very little noise until midnight and then, to a point, "all Hell broke loose" with fireworks and, most likely, some gunfire. We couldn't hear the fireworks from the Vegas Strip, but sure did from places around us. Seems like a LOT more people have moved to Henderson in the last year than the year (2023) when we moved here.

I tuned into the Times Square event, but bailed when Alanis Morissette changed the words to "Ironic" to suit the crowd:

"It's like meeting the man of my dreams
    Then meeting his beautiful husband.
    "
