    Dear @Peyton Farquar seems to have left us. He must be gone to visit the Farquars over in Atlanta. I think they are his cousins fourth removed.

    Funny thing just happened. I was reading a post on FB about the vote to impeach and the discussion was on Senator King voting. Well a fellow posted praising the Senator and I thought I'd look to see where he might be from. That info didn't exist but this did

    I dated a guy in high school who's given first name was Aloysius, pronounced as you stated. He went by the shorter version Al, but I thought the long version was quite unique and cool. Apparently, it IS a southern name.

    Perhaps, @Shirley Martin 's charm was more than he could handle. :D I hope he comes back, but doesn't read this part of the thread.
