If people are outside and distancing themselves it’s supposed to be safe. If people are within their own social group as in a family grilling out, then it’s supposed to be safe(er).

I do not wear a mask while outside.I do not attend gatherings where people are not social distancing. I chuckle to my self when I see people wearing masks while driving. I mean are they thinking that they may drive through a flock of corona?
Wearing a mask while in an enclosed area or in close contact with others is only smart.

Well, believe me, Bobby, those folks that were in the grilling area, next to the beach, were not social distancing. Now, these folks were either/or family members and friends, but they were sitting in fold-up camping chairs right next to each other. Wife and I were pretty shocked, but. In fact, we didn't see a single person, walking from their vehicle to the the grilling/beach area wearing a mask at all. Also, we didn't see anyone, in the camping areas (motorhome/tents) wearing them either.

It was really like there wasn't a thing going on. That is, the virus. Just as normal as could be!

If I was riding public transportation, I'd be wearing all that plus welding gloves and a 30-gallon trash bag with galoshes.

That would indeed solve the problem. However, the maskites want to require everyone to wear one.

I put my new mesh mask through a test run at the Tractor Supply Company store, which stations someone at the door to make sure no one enters the building without a mask. There were no questions asked, even from the guy on the inside who asked me if he could help me find anything. I didn't buy anything because I am never, ever going to shop at any store that enforces the governor's fashion dictates. The next time I'm in Bangor, I'll try it out at Walmart, too. Those are the only stores that I know of that enforce it.

I was looking for something on the order of a cheesecloth mask, but this will do. It might prevent mosquitos from biting my nose.

The True Value in my rural community came out of the gate very serious in enforcing the gubernatorial executive order.

They have signs outside giving their "Order for Curbside Pickup" phone number if you had a medical reason for not wearing a mask. Just the other day they posted a mask Nazi COVID Emissions Prevention Officer at their front door.

My Walmart recently started enforcing it at the point of entry, but once inside people make themselves comfortable and go unmolested.

I mentioned that this is a dry run for Climate Change controls. It's also designed to impose a substitute for the Democrats' long wished-for goal of shortening election cycles. Their shiny new objects are seen for the pile of crap they really are, given a normal election term. This has Biden hunkered down in his basement where he gets no exposure. It's by design. They'll roll out the minority female VP candidate and give her the "Make History/Don't Be a Misogynistic Racist" spotlight. No one will care who's on the top of the ticket. That's also what all this BLM stuff has been leading up to.

It's rare to see anyone in our True Value with a mask on, including the employees. The only nod they made to the governor's orders has been a plexiglass shield at the counter, but the employees are not usually behind the counter.

I gotta think this is the owner's politics at work.

Our governor has convened a "Special Emergency Legislative Session."

    The agenda:
    -Mask laws
    -Gun control

We showed up en masse at the regular sessions to squelch his gun control move. Wanna bet we get less protesting slack than those who tear down statues and burn businesses?

Well, it was just reported to me, thru Facebook, that a '68 classmate of mine has died due to the virus. He's been in ICU. However, I have no idea if he had any underlining health problems. Wish I did know, that way I could make a determination...........was it just the virus OR did some kind of underling health problem help the virus. Only his family know this and probably a few classmates he was fairly close to. I knew him, but not that well.
