I find this fascinating, and will continue to search this out. Mainly for my two daughters who suffer from a host of things...that their 69 year old mother does not and has never had. I am a believer in reflexology and helped my husband years ago when plagued with migraine headaches. I do know this...everything in the body is -connected.
I learned tapping years ago and then got away from it and now back doing it every day before I start my day when I do my body stretching and stuff I do to get my body loosened up from being stiff from sleeping all night. https://www.youtube.com/user/eftwizard I do a short version before I go to sleep. My words I think when I tap are: Even though I have some issues, I am fine. The history of Tapping: https://goe.ac/history_of_tapping.htm
I have used the Tai Chi method of tapping off and on. not sure how I got out of habit with this. But it can be very refreshing.
I took a yoga class years ago and part of the class included tapping. Several minutes of exercise was included after the yoga, and then tapping. The tapping was done all over - head to lower legs, with closed fists and cupped hands using light - medium pressure. Great for circulation. No affirmations. I prefer that way. Something so simple, but very effective.
Very very simple and so effective, subtle but it works. One just needs to DO IT. Good to see the awareness of this work here. Thanks for the merge.
It is always good to do a search for any topic before starting a new thread, Joy. Because of SEO, Ken (admin) prefers one longer thread over several shorter ones; so when there are several similar threads, they generally get merged together. Like you, I did tapping for a while, and then got away from it; but it did work when I used it, and I also need to start tapping again, so I am glad that you have re-introduced this topic for us.
