I've just joined this forum. Hope to read and enjoy and find helpful information. Best wishes to all!
Hello, @Stringalong , and welcome to the forum ! This is a friendly forum with seniors from many areas, and I think you will like it here. One thing that we do different from other forums, is that we use a name (first/last name) that sounds real, and not a username like most places do. It does not have to be your real name, some use their actual name, and others use a made-up name. To change your name, click on your name at the top right side of the page, and that will open up a box with options, and the bottom one on the right is for name-change. I am a greeter at this forum, and if you have any questions about how things work, you can either ask in this thread, or send me a personal message by clicking on my avatar and choosing “start a conversation”.
Yvonne and Frank, Thanks for the welcome! As requested, I have changed my name. It's now Kitty Dee. I hope it shows up that way because it said I had only one time to change my name.
@Kitty Dee Oh, boy....now I gotta remember which "Kitty" I'm trying to keep calm, after I made some stupid remark! Kidding, Kitty, of course! You use of "Dee" reminds me of a guy I knew long ago, a mechanic at the company which had just hired me, my first real job, as Development Technician, R&D. His name was D.B. Atchley. No problem now mentioning that; it was in 1963 that I met him. His first name was actually spelled "Dee". So, signing off on test results, he just signed "D". Silly recollection, I'd better go to bed! Frank
