@Ina I. Wonder you are looking good! I saw a recent pic of you with your grandson on FB....COOL looking grandma!! I need to eat to get my strength up, I have things to do, lol! This is my first day that I haven't taken the antibiotic and feeling better....least I did a load of laundry....now I'm resting.
Heard over coffee at the Hi-Goodbye.... The Donald was talking about "What I've learned".... "The best thing I've ever done? Well, I've created four beautiful children. You mean, other than that? Yes, it's true. As a kid, I was making a building with blocks in our playroom. I didn't have enough. So I asked my younger brother, Robert, if I could borrow some of his. He said, "Okay, but you have to give them back when you're done." I used all of my blocks, then all of his blocks, and when I was done I had a great building, which I then glued together. Robert never did get those blocks back. My father was a builder in Brooklyn and Queens, a very smart businessperson who understood life. He taught me to keep my guard up. The world is a pretty vicious place. My mom was a wonderful woman who was, in many ways, the opposite of my father. Very relationship oriented, very warm and open and generous to people. So I got different qualities from both. It was a great combination. My life essentially is one big, fat phone call. Hold on. Gotta take this one.... Reeeeegis, my man! How you doing?... The best pitcher in baseball going against us tonight. And Roger was great last time, but he's forty-one. Yeah, I'm going. Definitely. Are you?... Ohhh!... And you can't get out of it?... Reeeeg! You can't go see that! You can see that any night. This is a once-in-a-lifetime game. Once in a lifetime! You can't sit through a Broadway show with the Yankees playing the Red Sox in game seven! Go tomorrow night! Look, I'll get you a ticket. Reeeeg! Reeeeeeeeeeg! Look, even if you sit home and watch it on television, you're not gonna go to a Broadway show.... If you change your mind, let me know. I love you, darling. Take care. Be good". ...he finished the Whiskey cake!
Dirty Mug Even though this mug is totally clean, it is designed with lipstick and stain patterns on it so no one will use your mug as they will think it is dirty. https://www.worthashare.com/anti-theft-ideas-to-keep-your-coffee-and-lunch-safe/
It's that time of the week again, relax and chill in Joe's coffee shop and enjoy Dave's mid-week specials
Winter is approaching, a really cold morning here and in need of a cup of good coffee What's today special you can recommend Joe?
That scrumptious looking dessert is just another pretty face, Daveā¦LOL. I mean, seriously, you can't eat that. Whose mouth is wide enough for that??
I didn't see that egg for a second on "hello". I thought, "what?? 'hell'? Joe is serving breakfast with attitude?? That's so not like him"
Good morning Joe I was about to fall for the dessert, but thankfully an early morning reality reading took my attention apart enough to enjoy this great serving
@Joe Riley , I really like your little video, especially the ducklings. I think you're an old hippy. They were calling me a hippy before I even knew what one was. 1. I was always bare foot, but that was normal for the first 15 years of my life, and if I wore/wear shoes they tend to be homemade moccasins. 2. I wore granny gowns, but so did all the women in my father's church. 3. My hair was way below my behind, again a church thing, 'a woman's hair is her glory' my father was always saying, and then there is the 1/2 Indian thing too.
Liked your "Hash Browns" ukelele music so much that I asked some ukelele musicians to be featured for a LIVE mic night here at the Hi-Goodbye Cafe tonight! And heeere they are!
