For me everything has a signature. Not something that I see, but feel. Sort of like a fingerprint. I have described writing poetry as pulling invisible filaments of spidersilk first into pictures in my mind, then out into words.
@Sacheen BrightEagle , Did you study synesthesia when your were studying, or have you ever met someone with it before. I have never met anyone else with synesthsia. In fact, after my father's reaction, I never told anyone else until I told Yvonne last year. People tend to think you're a nut case for a lot less things. I have always wanted to see if it was the same for others, or how did it vary for others. I know that for some people it has to do with smells.
Yes I have studied it Ina. Wasn't sure if it applied to you. Have never personally met anyone with it. Apparently Billy Joel has it. From what I have heard, although it is a rare phenomen, it is more prevalent among creatives than anywhere else.
Maybe that accounts for my quilting, ernbroidrying, cooking, sewing, plants, portraits, and even pottery. So for you everything actually has an imprint, which forms emotional inpressions on you?
Oh my, I remember myself wishing to head off to San Francisco, but I was then too young to wear flowers in my head
Thanks, Dave...I've been up since 3....would have helped you except I don't bake. Excellent cook though or was.
What happened to the Thursday Jumble Puzzle, was that only for October? Well since it's Thursday, how about Throw Back Thursday? Here I am with my brother in Pittsburgh around 1957. No looking up my dress!
