I have this original 1973 book and is signed by David Bowie "Rock Dreams" by Guy Peellaert and Nik Cohn I bought it used for 4.99. It's a very bizarre, mostly illustrative book with captions.
Ruby, really!?? Could you do me a favor? Could you look at Bowie's pic on the 3rd to the last page in your book? Is his signature at the bottom that just says "Bowie" in blue ink? I've often wondered if maybe they just did a really good job of printing it on there but then no other stars (on every page) have signatures. I highly doubt it because the ink has a slightly different sheen than the photo but can you look and confirm that for me? That's so crazy that we both have one (James Dean below)
View attachment 8040 Lara, I just dug out my copy. Mine does NOT have "Bowie" written on that page. Yours could be something the former owner of the book wrote there. It would be nice if it was an autograph! I haven't looked at this book in a very long time, so I'm going to enjoy it again! I also have this Annie Leibovitz , but in over sized soft cover.
