@Joe Riley , If you ever get a drive through window, this might work for those on the go. Best of all, I can see the need for less dish washing. They do say it's a disposable world today.

Mary and I arrived safely from Palm beach, yesterday evening! @Frank Sanoica , after swinging by to pick up @Ike Willis, was waiting at our Town Airport to drive us home. They picked us up in Frank's Maroon, 1948 Tucker automobile, and caused quite a stir when they pulled up and opened the front trunk to throw our bags in! We are glad to be back & it will be a while before we can look another donut in the face.
We had quite a welcome, as we opened up this morning! Quite a crowd waiting to have breakfast! Shorty, our short-order cook has declared today "Waffles, Bacon & Eggs Day", and is dishing out a huge breakfast for $1.50 and coffee for 25 cents....today, only....til Noon! Be sure to stop by! I have imposed a ban on all donuts....today only! A big thanks to Phil, over at "Phil's Fill-up" for covering for us while we were gone!
Hi @Joe Riley, I'm happy hear that you and the Mrs. had a safe and enjoyable time. But we are glad you're back at the cafe in full force. We seniors tend to get into habits, and you seem to have become one here in SOC. All of us can use another good habit. PS: When you are not at the cafe, and we have to fend for ourselves, all sorts of things happen.
Hello friends, Right now it is very quiet in my house. Ahhhh peace for awhile. I have had two teenagers staying with me since Thrusday. They leave tomorrow. I had forgotten just how messy and disturbing teenagers can be. I think I got tagged as a cheap babysitter by one of my neighbors. Maybe I'll see just what they would think if I charged them. My pantry is bare!!!
