My friend and I would get a slice of chocolate cake to go with out coffee. We can not find the cake any more but we still have the coffee every so often together.
Was on the way to the coffee shop and got stopped. Lost a couple dozen donuts to the cops but have enough for you folks.
What about apple fritters, @Dave Sun ? I love apple fritters ! Oh, yeah......I am just imagining it now.......a fresh apple fritter, and a cup of pumpkin spice latte coffee......mmmm good. Maybe I should not stop in here so often. I am pretty sure this is why I am not losing any weight, even with all of that swimming at the fitnes center. So, scratch the apple fritters, Dave, and I will have celery sticks instead. (heaving a big sigh)
Good morning, Yvonne, heard your sigh..... here you go! I think I'll stick with the potato sticks, myself!
Thank you for the celery sticks with my coffee, @Joe Riley ! I will expect to see a definite difference when I step on that bathroom scales tomorrow. Your little potato sticks look pretty interesting, too. Tomorrow, I would like a little peanut butter and some of those sprinkles on my celery sticks. (waiting to see you find a picture of THAT one....)
Sorry, Yvonne, can't sneak that one past the "National Celery Foundation"*! According to the "NCF", however, "celery has major anti-inflammatory benefits, and it has been proven to protect against inflammation in the digestive tract. Unlike other veggies that boast high levels of well-known antioxidants like vitamin C, this light green vegetable has more than a dozen lesser-known antioxidants, which work to protect the body from oxygen damage to the cells, blood vessels and organs. It's also a good source of a key antioxidant, vitamin K". *(Really the George Mateljan Foundation)
