@Chrissy Page, Thank you, I'll order some today, Fourty cups for 28.90 works out to be 0.7225 per cup. That in the long run will be better for me than all the caffeine I've been getting. I really like hot drinks when the weather turns cold, but there is generally so much sugar in them. @Yvonne Smith and my new doctor explained that sugar was a contributing factor to the inflamation of my spine. So I now use Stevia in place of sugar when possible. Now I need to work on quiting my use of 1/2 & 1/2 in my coffee. I also noticed that there are even some with liqour flavors. I'll leave those alone though, I've never been one for much alcohol.

Hope you like them, Ina. I use sugar free flavored creamers in my coffee, sometimes the liquid and sometimes the powder.

My whole adult life I drank my coffee black and its only in the past few years that I started using creamers and now I cant imagine drinking it black...UGH! :)

I have been thinking about a book, that I read as a boy, called "Homer Price". One of the six stories, in the book, is about the "Donut Machine", and has a sort of "Sorcerer's apprentice" feel to it.

"The first is the story of Uncle Ulysses’ Donut Machine. Homer is in charge of his uncle’s diner for a couple of hours while Uncle Ulysses is at the barbershop. With some help from a rich customer, Homer gets the donut machine going and the donuts are really delicious. Unfortunately, he can’t stop the donut machine and pretty soon donuts are piling up everywhere. Of course there will be a creative solution. Here’s a picture from this story. Just looking at it tickles me inside".

....as I remember the story, at some point, after the diner is filled with stacks of donuts, a rich lady discovered that her valuable bracelet had fallen into the batter....and it was inside one of the donuts! Well, the only way to find it was to bite into each donut.....you can guess which donut it was in....that's right, the LAST ONE!;)

As I sit here, finishing my second cup of coffee...I am thinking of our decorations for Christmas. The doughnut tree in the window, with Java village spread out underneath, is what I normally do. I love the look of the tiny, caffeinated skaters racing around Glazed Doughnut Lake. The coffee canes, on the tree are also a nice touch! What to do? Should we have the train, again?....the little open freight cars, loaded with Columbia's finest beans, grinding up the grade, stopping at the Coffee tower, for a refill?? Let me think on it.;)
