We also had a stormy night but today is clear and beautiful. It's still windy out there, though. 75°F
20s F. during the night and up to around 40 F. during the day. We are supposed to get more snow today, but it hasn't materialized yet.
It is going to be kind of grey this week and above freezing, easily. I just threw two of my planters out to start hardening things off.
Another chilly and wet day here, but then supposed to be nice, and also warm weather for the next week. Hoping to get outside and do more things in the front yard once the rain is done.
Perfect day! Down around 50°F overnight and nearly 80 right now. Very sunny and a nice cool breeze. I have been sitting out in the sunshine, reading.
Getting fairy chilly ..it’s forecast for 19 c ( 66) for Adelaide but that’s only about 16 here ( 60 f) It traditionally turns cold right after Easter but it was cold before Easter …. This chilly weather came right on top of a very cool / cold summer …..we had our Air con on twice for the entire summer months . In fact we never took our mink blanket that we put over our quilt in cooler months off the bed in summer and some summer nights we had our electric blanket on ( just so it’s warm to jump into bed ….then it’s turned off ) I heard on a gardening show our chilly summer months was the cause of fruit not setting trees this summer
Cooler today--high around freezing. We are supposed to get snow, rain or a mix today. We'll see. I think 2-4 inches are predicted. It has just started snowing lightly. Low last night was 25 F.
We had some showers of minimal consequence go through earlier, and now there's a tornado watch covering 10 counties in this area. Looks like a line of nasty stuff is gonna come through between now and 1AM.
Well it’s not mink ….. @Don Alaska it’s synthetic … we must have bought it 25 years ago when all the nice “ mink” blankets first hit the market
The big storm didn't materialize. We got a dusting of snow so far and that's it. Temp is just above freezing overnight.
Same here. When the long line of stuff headed east over me and marched across the rest of the state, I think a gap in it passed over me. Dunno what happened elsewhere in the region.
