Mid- to high-70s here for the last few days, dropping to the 60s at night. At some point, it might climb into the 80s in the afternoon, but it doesn't stay there long.
I think we are sending you our weather when we are done with it. I am loving this for summer. It was supposed to be going into the 90's Wednesday but they have corrected it to cooler. Mid eighties.
Kind of pleasant morning; mid 80s. We got 1/2" of rain from a "scattered shower" yesterday and hoping to get more Thursday night going into Friday. Seems to me that it's feeling a tiny bit fall-ish in the early morning.
Off and on rain, and no bears here either, but we do have salmon in the back yard this morning. Temps around 60 F.
This isn't going to be one of those nino nina years with polar vortexes, is it? I better clean up the barn house in case I need a wood stove and a stay at the farm.
El Nino has been around since (it was first noticed) in the 17th century, long before the real industrial revolution. It was noted by Peruvian fishermen to occur around Christmas and they named it "El Nino" to symbolize that they associated it with the birth of Christ.
We're under a heat advisory for the 3rd day in a row; expecting 103 degrees but a good chance of rain overnight and tomorrow, so woohoo.
70 F. or so and sunny. I couldn't ask for nicer weather. They were predicting rain for this entire week...but what do they know? Not much.
Ok, now I am worried. Hubby said the Farmer's Almanac says we are in for a rough winter. Lots of snow.
