I can't even begin to mention my el crap-o day...which started at 2am...I would only rant...so maybe tomorrow will be better
Have had a very pleasant day in the sun, first in the garden here, and then we walked into the village and our favourite restaurant for an extended dinner. We sat outside on the verandah and ate and drank until we were full, then walked back to the dacha. Lisa is mowing the lawn and I am sat in a deckchair watching the sun slowly go down.... life is blissful in this moment..... I wish you all the same blissful moments whatever you are doing......
The day passed like a dream till the late afternoon, we went for a walk in the morning sunshine, then came back a tad weary, made another rustic lunch, and after a couple of beers I sat in the deckchair, and fell asleep in the sun, not a good idea really, I ended up feeling fuzzy, but will be back to normal after a good nights sleep... I hope you are enjoying your Sunday...
Good evening friends we just got back to Lisa's apartment, it's 7pm and raining now so we left at the right time I have been away on several short trips during the three months I have been here, and each time I go away for one reason or another I forget to take my magnesium spray with me, each time after 3 days my energy level drops and my mood deteriorates as well. I first thought it was imagined or coincidence, but it's happened this time again, and today is the 4th day. I feel lower in spirits and my energy is also much lower than it is normally. Each time I restart the treatment I become normal again after about 2-3 days ............... I will go and give myself a double dose now.... I hope your days are going well.....here are a few evening paintings..... Good Evening M'lady Good Evening Evening Joy
Yesterday..all day and a big part of today was spent with hubby shopping for 2 reclners. Its exhausting and then because we got bummed last time had to do reserach first. So finally made a decision today and am praying that these two will last longer than 3.5 years !
Got all my chores done. Getting ready to head downtown with the wife for a Baseball game. The hotel I work for is having a company night at the Minor leaque stadium tonight. Hot Dogs, peanuts and Beer...Sounds like a plan.
Wife has one more day off, plus the weekend. Done a little shopping today, then came home and took a two hour nap. Still recovering from the lack of sleep on Monday and Tuesday nights in Orlando. The room we were given at a the motel was next to an elevator! The nice/quiet room we wanted, and had before, the occupants decided to stay another night. We had already unpacked everything before hearing the elevator noise. It would've been a hassle changing rooms. If possible, we only stay on the first floor. Right when we laid down this PM, a t-storm hit with heavy rain and plenty of lightning/thunder. We were so tired, went right to sleep!
My day was aggravating, wrecked my second new car in less than a year. A lady made a left in front of me. No one was hurt but now I have to go through all that insurance rig-a-ma-roll again. Not to mention dealing with no car til mine is repaired.
Hi from Moscow, we are between trains, the fast train to St.Petersburg leaves in a few minutes. We will be home by midnight, but have to be up at 5am tomorrow to catch the bus to Finland for the day trip. I am flying back to the UK on Tuesday so will have time to recover from all this madness We had a lovely last day in Sergiev Posad the hottest day of the year so far in the 80's Hope you are all having a good Sunday.
Good evening friends we are back from our day trip to Finland which went very well and the visa was duly stamped. I am flying back home tomorrow afternoon and will catch the tail end of a mini heatwave they are enjoying in the UK, it's been up to 35c (95f) which is hot for the UK though I know you have it much hotter in the US. I have promised myself a few days sat in the sun (hopefully) on the terrace at home sipping cold beer and catching up with all the posts on here. I have loads of photos to post of places we have visited and food we have eaten Here are the pics of the most amazing Thali we had today, Lisa had lamb curry I had a chicken one with various sauces and a wonderful crispy warm naan bread......an English speaking Nepalese chef in Finland, what a mix..... Hope you are all having a good Monday....
My day started off disappointing when I turned on the News and the weather reports let me know I won't be able to make my trip to visit with my sisters and spend time on the Florida beaches because of a tropical storm or depression. For a little while I felt really down about this...and then I realized it's better to be wise...then stupid! It will probably be another 3 weeks before I can reschedule this trip with my youngest moving back to Louisiana and needing my help to settle in over here. I will not be going during the 4th of July week either as the traffic and the beaches will be overwhelming during that time. But I am at peace with this...and know I will get there when the time is right.
Hey @Terry Page , I've noted that you and Lisa eat a lot of curry dishes. You've mentioned that you cook them as well, so might you have a simple recipe for a curry dish that I could try my hand at. I have never eaten curry, so something basic would probably be best to start off with. I heard that curry has many health benifits. Have you found this to be so, or is curry too much for delicate tummies?
